Home station is simple,  a KENWOOD TS-850S HF rig driving a B&W  folded dipole antenna.  Equipment in the car is likewise simple, consisting of an ICOM  IC706 MK II-G feeding the AH-4  automatic wire ant turner on 80 thru 6 meters and a LARSEN dual band "thru-the-glass" ant. for 146 & 440 MHz operation.
